In
2000,
I
completed
a
series
of
painted
collages
that
included
prose.
My
desire
was
then
to
use
the
words
and
images
to
make
a
music
video
of
art.
My
husband
Robert
and
I
brainstormed
and
felt
that
performance
was
the
only
way
to
make
it
happen.
With
that
decision,
I
entered
a
new
realm
of
layering
that
created
a
3
dimensional
metaphor
of
collage.
The
result
is
“Scrubscapes”.
“Scrubscapes”
is
an
unintentional
operetta.
A
mix
of
video,
music,
and
spoken
word
seems
to
be
the
contemporary
cultural
voice.
Organizing
pandemonium
into
a
cosmos,
“Scrubscapes”
embraces
the
environment
by
creating
art
and
music
about
it
to
become
a
journey
of
acceptance
and
recognition
of
